In this workshop you will learn how cities can chose renewable energy alternatives over
electricity produced with carbon spewing coal plants that provide much of our electricity
in Colorado today.

After a brief look at our situation we’ll focus on how citizens can convince city officials to
start seeing their current commitment to coal as both a problem and an opportunity.

The goal is to come away with concrete steps to take, not just to give you information.
Guiding us will be Leslie Glustrom, Ken Regelson, Je Neuman-Lee and others with
extensive experience in organizing.
