Local Ballot Initiative: Where are we, and where do we go from here?

What’s happening?

• In February, the Windsor Community Rights Network, submitted ballot initiative language to amend Windsor’s charter.  The initiative delineates the rights of residents and bans corporate activities, including fracking, that violate those rights.

• The town rejected the initiative language; The Windsor Community Rights Network is now working with legal counsel.
