Junction 48 – film about Palestinian-Israeli rapper
Jewish Voice for Peace and local partners are gearing up to screen the film Junction 48. The film is a semi-biographical account of the early career of Tamer Nafar, a rapper from the Palestinian group DAM, who is a Palestinian citizen of Israel. The film chronicles his struggles living under occupation inside Israel, from demolitions of friends' houses to confiscated family property to encounters with nationalistic Israeli rappers and musicians.
